Benefit's Roller Lash

Image
Todays post is all about this lovely new product. With Benefit being one of my all time favourite brands, I am always really excited to try their new products. As soon as I heard about their new arrival, the  Rollerlash mascara, I knew I had to rush out to the shops and try it. This came free with Elle magazine, which is actually one of my favourite magazines! I wasn't sure what to expect from this, as I didn't get on so well with the 'They're Real' mascara. I found it quite heavy on my eyelashes, it smudged throughout the day a lot and was really difficult to remove without tugging on my eyelashes, no matter what remover I used. I adore the packaging of this, with the rose gold detailing. The full size one has a hair roller inspired lid which is really cute. I love Benefit's packaging, they are always on point with all their products. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I love the brush, I find smaller brushes easier to use, they seem to be l...

All Things Pink

Image
Todays post features some of my current favourite beauty favourites, tied in with a pink theme to brighten up these dull winter days. First of all I've been loving Benefit's ooh la lift and highbeam. Ooh la lift is a brightening primer, perfect for brightening those dark under eye circles. I love that it keeps my eyeshadow on for longer when used on the lid while adding a subtle glow. It's great for when I'm not wearing any eyeshadow too, or for when I don't have time in the mornings but want that little bit extra than a completely natural base. Perfect!

Whats in my Makeup bag: Everyday Look!

Image
So today I thought I'd do a whats in my makeup bag. I've been wanting to do one of these for ages, as I'm really nosey and love knowing what products people have in their makeup bags. This has been a long time coming but finally here it is! First of all my makeup bag is from Ted Baker. I got this at the airport last year as its always cheaper there, so I managed to save a few pounds. Handy! I really want to get a smaller version for my makeup brushes as I hate it when the bristles bend in different direction. I love the look of this one , maybe I'll get one at the airport again as I will be going soon.  The brushes that I have are all from Real Techniques, they are quite pricey but definitely worth it for the quality. They help makeup glide on easy, are really soft and so easy to wash. The ones I use everyday are the Powder Brush  with my Hello Flawless powder, the Expert Face brush , the fine liner brush  and I use the deluxe cre...

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot: Box O' Blushes!

Image
So I caved and treated myself to Benefit's box o' blushes. I just couldn't help myself! I really wanted to get something from their new Christmas collection and spent ages choosing in John Lewis at the weekend, they all look so lovely! Blush is something that I don't really buy myself very much, I'd prefer to spend my money on a new eyeshadow, so I thought I'd treat myself and what better way to do it then get all of these gorgeous colours in one! I'm really excited about Hoola as I'm yet to try it but have seen it everywhere, it seems to be a bloggers favourite. I can't really choose a favourite out of the blushers, they are all so lovely. This box includes Dandelion, Bella bamba, Sugarbomb, Hoola, CORALista, Rockateur and Watts Up! I've been a fan of benefits 'Highbeam' ever since I got a mini tester in glamour mag a couple of years ago, but I tried a bit of Watts up the other day and it glided on gorgeously. S...

Favourite Concealers, Correctors and Highlighters!

Image
Todays blog post is all about my favourite concealers and highlighter.  First of all I have the Bobbi Brown Corrector's in Porcelain Peach and Light Bisque. These are my favourite correctors! They're so creamy and feel light on the eye, although they do crease easily which is annoying! Nothing that a little powder can't fix though! I love Bobbi Brown's products, they're so easy to work with and leave your skin looking naturally flawless. I have two colours, I usually use Porcelain Peach as its lighter, but in the summer months when I'm slightly tanned or when I want a little more coverage I blend it with Light Bisque. I've also found that this keeps my ByTerry shadow stick on longer, even without a primer! You can read about that here . I then have the Benefit Erase Paste. This is an old favourite of mine and you can tell that this has been well used! This really is a great all round concealer. It targets dark circles and spots ...
