Nars Sheer Glow: Review

Image
Todays post is all about my new found love for Nars Sheer Glow. If you have been reading my blog, you may have noticed a post where I compared this foundation to my old favourite Bobbi Brown one. I was initially given this foundation in the wrong colour from Space NK, so no wonder why I didn't get along with it! I have since swapped it and it is my new holy grail product! I now have this in the colour 'Mont Blanc' after being matched up wrongly with 'Siberia'. Siberia had more of a yellowy undertone, where as my skin tone has more of a pinky undertone. It's funny how much difference having the right colour can make! I now love this foundation, it isn't drying on the skin, blends well and lasts well throughout the day. I have also found that I can skip concealer now too, I just use a little around my eyes if they are looking extra tired. I have had a few blemishes on my chin this week and it has covered them really well, without looking cakey. I almo

Moroccan Oil: Review

Image
Todays post feautures an all time favourite product of mine, the original Moroccan Oil. I absolutely love this stuff! I tried it a few years ago but forgot about it until re-purchasing last year. I picked this mini version up around last October and have used it most days since. It has lasted such a long time as I was a bit put off by the price before. I have just re purchased the mini one again as it's easier to travel with, and it's in a glass bottle so if I had the full sized one and knocked it over than thats £30 down the drain! I was only expecting this to last about a month or so, so I have been so pleased with how well its lasted! I picked this up after seeing the lovely blogger Kayleigh from Couture Girl  rave about it on her blog! I felt like my hair was lacking moisture as I used to use heat on it all the time. I have since been letting my hair air dry and this seems to calm the frizz enough to go without hair dryers and straightners.  I literally can&#

Whats On My iPhone

Image
This week I had a little dose of bloggers block and found myself stuck for ideas, especially as the lighting hasn't been the best. It's always sunny when I have plans and no time to get my camera out! So I decided on a whats on my iPhone post, featuring my favourite apps. I've seen these in forms of videos all over youtube but I can't remember seeing one on a blog. It's different to what I'd usually do, but we'll see how it goes.

Benefit's Roller Lash

Image
Todays post is all about this lovely new product. With Benefit being one of my all time favourite brands, I am always really excited to try their new products. As soon as I heard about their new arrival, the  Rollerlash mascara, I knew I had to rush out to the shops and try it. This came free with Elle magazine, which is actually one of my favourite magazines! I wasn't sure what to expect from this, as I didn't get on so well with the 'They're Real' mascara. I found it quite heavy on my eyelashes, it smudged throughout the day a lot and was really difficult to remove without tugging on my eyelashes, no matter what remover I used. I adore the packaging of this, with the rose gold detailing. The full size one has a hair roller inspired lid which is really cute. I love Benefit's packaging, they are always on point with all their products. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I love the brush, I find smaller brushes easier to use, they seem to be l

January Favourites

Image
This month I have been loving quite a few things. Firstly I have found myself reaching for The Body Shops aloe vera gel a lot. I featured this in last months favourites although for a different purpose. As I was abroad during Christmas and the New Year I had been using the gel as an aftersun to cool any redness. However this month I have been loving it for reducing acne scars. I am very lucky in the sense that I dont get spots that often, but when I do they all come at once and leave scars for ages. This has most definitely helped to reduce them overnight. I used to swear by sudocrem at night, but that leaves my skin feeling dry and flackey by the morning. I would definitely recommend this gel as it has been reducing those scars a lot quicker. I then have benefits porefessional. I know that I rave about this a lot but it really helps to keep my makeup on, i featured this in last months favourites, which is a little repetitive of me, but it's a sign of a go
