A Positive 2015

Image
Todays post is all about a positive 2015. I'm a little late to the game I know, but better late than never, hey? This post was going to go up earlier but of course I had to wait so I could add my favourite new release in from the lovely Tanya Burr. I got through this book in a day, I just couldn't put it down and I am not that much of a book person so that must be saying something!

Gold Favourites

So todays post is all about my all of my gold favourites, it goes hand in hand with my new gold theme which I love so much that I went a bit mad with having to match a blog post to. So here are some old and new favourites. First up is the Champney's Spa Skin Comforting Miracle Balm. This is something that is always on my bedside table and one of those all round handy products, it has so many uses and lasts for absolutely ages. It's perfect for dry skin, elbows, heels, lips and cuticles. Great is your skin is in need of a little TLC. It's also currently on offer in boots! I then have my ByTerry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock. This is one of my favourite beauty buys, I'd wanted it for a while but the price tag kept putting me off! It's so worth the price, lasts on the eyes without smudging all day, is easy to build up and always feels so special to use. Then theres the gold favourite touche eclat by YSL. I feel like this is a staple for makeup bags

All Things Pink

Todays post features some of my current favourite beauty favourites, tied in with a pink theme to brighten up these dull winter days. First of all I've been loving Benefit's ooh la lift and highbeam. Ooh la lift is a brightening primer, perfect for brightening those dark under eye circles. I love that it keeps my eyeshadow on for longer when used on the lid while adding a subtle glow. It's great for when I'm not wearing any eyeshadow too, or for when I don't have time in the mornings but want that little bit extra than a completely natural base. Perfect!

Nars Sheer Glow

So I've finally got round to photographing my Nars Sheer Glow foundation. I got this just before going on holiday as I couldn't resist the hype any longer and my usual cream foundation is too thick and slides off really quickly in the heat so wouldn't have lasted in the evenings.
