Bouncy Curls With GHD
I have had the GHD curve creative curl wand for a while now, but I've only just got into it. I've used other wands in the past but they seem to leave my hair looking dry and the curls drop really quickly. I have been really loving this wand in the last couple of weeks. These photos were taken after my birthday party, so my hair had been curled for the majority of the day and the curls hadn't dropped at all! I didn't even use hairspray as I hate the crispy feeling it gives my hair.
The first few times I curled my hair with this wand I used the GHD curl heat protectant spray but it made my hair feel like it didn't really do anything other than way my hair down. The shampoo and conditioner I use are by Charles Worthington and they have heat protectant in them so I try to limit the amount of products I use when I'm out of the shower to prevent any build up. I let my hair air dry as I feel like the natural texture helps to give the curls a more natural look. I split my hair into two sections and start by curling from the back, taking slightly different sized sections each time and alternating the direction of each curl to get more of a natural look. When I get to the front I do the sections away from my face. I then finish off my lightly applying a small amount of Moroccan Oil to the ends to create a softer look. This adds extra shine to the hair and makes it look super healthy!

I have quite thick hair but this curling wand makes doing my hair really quick and easy, it takes no longer than ten minutes to achieve these curls. Although this curling wand is pricey I would recommend it to anyone as the quality is amazing. It heats up in seconds and the curls still look great on the second day, they actually have more of a beachy look.
If a wand isn't for you then GHD also have tongs in their curve range. I personally think that wands are easier to you, but its whatever you are used to.
Have you tried one of these wands?
